Hello, everyone. This post is probably long overdue since I've had this blog for a few months now and I haven't bothered to write anything substantial. Since I'm most likely going to be published in 2019, I figured it's about time I start expanding my online presence.
My name is John Baker. I'm a YA author who writes under the pen name J. Taylor Baker. My current works-in-progress include The Cardorian Complex and The Laws of Vanity, both of which are nearing their final stages of revisions and will be the main focus of my blog posts for the foreseeable future.
When I'm not writing, I am a senior at Western Washington University, located in Bellingham, WA, in the United States. I am a psychology major with plans to pursue counseling and therapy as a future profession. I also have an off-campus job working as a home care aide specialist for Cascade Connections. I am currently twenty-two years old, the oldest of three siblings (one sister and one brother, for those of you who are curious), and I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for almost my entire life.
My main goal with this blog is to share news and information about my books in the hopes of reaching prospective readers. Every now and then, I may jump in with a book or a film review just to shake things up, but as I'm an up-and-coming writer, it's important that I try and develop an online presence so I can connect with fans, readers, and fellow authors. I will try my best to post as frequently as possible to keep everyone up to date.
